Hi everyone!
So... this is my first post in my new blog, it's something new for me.
I'm Vicente Ferrer Padilla, I'm 20, from Santiago, Chile... the end of the world... really.
For lucky, I live in front of my work so I don't have to wait for the red lights, the traffic and all the people who are stressed.
I studied at SSCC Manquehue, it's a private school where I learned a lot of my society and social work.
After the school, I was at AIEP for studied technical at hairdresser. I studied at the mornings and after lunch I worked at my family's saloon.
My first cut was at my 15 years... I think... it was a long time ago. Many people ask me: Who was so crazy to accepted cut her/his hair with you when you don't know nothing?!
Well, she was one of my best friends at my childhood... now she is living at Paris.
Actually I work five days a week and I have many clients who look up for my services and that's something awesome for someone who is a little adult learning in this new world of the work. Some clients ask my if there is hard to work with your parents and then I answer: no, if you know who is the boss. (It's true)

I live whit my parents and a younger brother, he is 18. We have 3 dogs, but not in Santiago with us, they are at our lake house in Rapel lake (2 hours at the south of Santiago)

In the lake I practice some of my hobbies with my family like sailing, do ski and wakeboard (it's like snowboard but in the water). One of the other hobbies that i do at the lake it's ride my motorbike and race a cross the hills without a target, just go whatever I want with mi friends in their bikes and see the lake from the top of the hills.
I love cut hair... but there is something that I prefer from everything, cars.
Maybe in the future I'll do something with cars like a garage or something similar... if not, it will be just a hobby like restore, drive or race them.

Ok... the title,
HERE IN CHICAGO
I come to Chicago cause I want to improve my english an learn about this beautiful city. At the moment I did some things that there are at my "buquet list" like see "the Bean" know people, sightseeing Michigan avenue and see some of the interesting buildings and statues because I love architecture too.

There is a beautiful statue, a enormous statue designed by Picasso at Daley plaza that I saw it everyday. I think that it's a woman because he always have their "musas" (the women who inspired all their creations). Maybe it could be a guardian because it have huge wings or a person who take him to another place or another lifestyle. Of course that sculpture was inspired from someone very important, that is why its so interesting see or think for who are dedicated that enormous structure and what was he think when he designed it... it's a mystery.
Two days ago, we was at Cultural center, it's an old building that you must to see everything, including the corners!! The works of the ceiling are great, to much details everywhere, the mosaicos, the marmol rock and the 2 glass domes have an incredibles works and one of them have the zodiacal symbols at the center.

In resume, these days there was awesome here, it doesn't matter if it's to cold or if it's raining, this city have beautiful things whatever you see.
This is just the beginning...
