Dear future students:
If you will take this workshop in winter you MUST have warm clothes for this terrible cold... after all, this city with snow its beautiful!.
You should take adevantage of this days, remember, this is just a month and everything happen to fast.
This workshop will help you to improve your english, its not a intensive program for english, its a turistic program in where you can share with many people around the world. Its easy to do friends here in Kendall cause they are nice people and from diferents part of the world just like you. Its usually to found people who speak your lenguage... but is not the idea.
You should look up for the events in the city, partys, concerts, theater etc. I was some times at the House of Blues in a big party, it was excellent!! There are always concerts in that place, blues, jazz, rock, reggae, electronic music, etc...
You don't have to organize a sightseeing because Kendall already have activities for each day for see the city and all the attractions in here!
Dont loose time at night, if you wont go out, just sleep, really, you will need it since the first week.
I hope that you are 21 if you will come here because if you arent, you cant go to pubs and discos.
If you are 21 or older, go to the Hancock Tower's pub at the sunset, it have a beautiful view of Chicago from the 95th floor with many drinks, it's not to expensive, if you can, do it!
At Fornellis you will have bunk-beds but if you don't want to, you can disarm it and have separated beds.
It's usually to see many stores in sale where you can buy many things.
If you want to buy some souvenirs, you must to go to Chinatown, everything it's cheaper and it's easy to get in there.
You will enjoy this city!
